The Squaxin Island Tribe is located just south of the Skokomish on route to Olympia. Descendents of maritime people, the Squaxin have occupied the shores of South Pudget Sound for centuries. View exhibits and galleries at the Tribe's Museum Library & Research Center. Discover an ancient village site at Mud Bay and see unearthed artifacts. Learn how the natural environment is embedded in our traditions and culture. From Suquamish, head Visitors are welcome to participate in cultural activities and special events.
